A new community magazine, Eumundi Voice, was officially launched at the Eumundi School of Arts Hall on 23 July, 2020. Over 90 members of the public attended the presentation, which outlined the scope and purpose of the fortnightly magazine.

The first issue will be published on 13 August, 2020, and with a planned distribution of 4000 printed, full-colour copies, the magazine will reach communities with Eumundi as its centre: including Kelinworth, Belli Park, Cooroy and Doonan towards the coast. An online version will ensure the widest possible access by residents and visitors to Eumundi and its hinterland.

Eumundi Rotary Initiatives Ltd is the organisation behind the magazine, and its directors are members of Eumundi Rotary Club.  The magazine is part of the community service aspect of Rotary’s work, and supports its fund-raising for a wide range of groups, including Katie Rose Hospice, Riding for the Disabled Eumundi, youth leadership programmes and support for Seniors.

Eumundi Voice magazine is an ideal way for local businesses to reach their target customers, with both regular advertisements and for special events and promotions.

For local organisations and groups, Eumundi Voice allows them to showcase their work within the community, and attract volunteers and donations.

Volunteers are always needed: to contribute news and feature articles, send in photographs of events and community life and help with delivery to homes and strategic locations.

Eumundi Voice is giving Eumundi back its voice,” commented a member of the audience.
